The NY-based studio’s conscious balance of streetwear and design heritage provides the classic style with a modern minimalist sensibility. Just like the name states, the Triple Black Irish Setter 3110, is comprised of 3 different black leathers: Black Chrome, Black Abilene Suede, and Black Prairie. However, it’s not only the leathers that come in black, but everything from the stitching, the tread soles and the eyelets.
The roots of Irish Setter go back a long way. In the 1920s, the Red Wing Shoe Company introduced “Outing Boots” — strapping 18 inch high boots that were the first styles specifically designed for hunters. Based in Red Wing, Minnesota, Irish Setter is a division of Red Wing Shoe Company which produces a full line of performance hunting boots and rugged outdoor work footwear.
